Sinochem International has successfully completed the first start-up of its 2,500-ton-per-year para-aramid expansion project at its subsidiary Sinochem High Fiber, producing on-spec products during initial commissioning.
With the expansion, the company’s total para-aramid production capacity has reached 8,000 tons per year, further meeting market and customer demand and contributing to the stability of China’s high-performance fiber materials supply chain.
The project also achieved breakthroughs in low-cost production processes and equipment technologies, reducing overall para-aramid production costs by approximately 4% and strengthening the company’s competitiveness across the industry value chain.
