Production of high-performance epoxy resins by Sinochem International’s subsidiary Yangnong Kumho has been selected as a model case under the petrochemical industry’s “Three Products” initiative by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. This initiative recognizes efforts to increase product varieties, improve quality and build stronger brands.
Yangnong Kumho has independently developed a range of process technologies, including staged reaction and closed-loop circulation processes for epoxy resins, as well as advanced oxidation technology enabling catalyst recycling in the treatment of high-salinity wastewater. These innovations support improvements in epoxy resin quality while advancing greener production across the entire process chain, from raw material input to post-treatment.
The company leverages internet-based and digital numerical-control technologies to enhance production efficiency and product quality through automation and intelligent manufacturing. In addition, Kumho Yangnong has established an operational excellence management system, advanced quality certification programs and active participation in industry standards development. The company has obtained certifications including GL, REACH, CNAS and ISCC PLUS.
