Sinochem International has gained “Double Hundred Benchmark Enterprise” rating for 2022 by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council.

On May 6, the SAKURA GAS, a foreign trade ship laden with 46,462 tons of low-temperature propane, successfully docked at berth 148# of the Sinochem Lianyungang Port’s liquefied hydrocarbon terminal.

Sinochem International has completed the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint verification for its para-aramid filament yarns products, earning certification from SGS, a leading third-party authority.

Two innovative processes developed by Sinochem International have been selected for inclusion in the Green and Low-Carbon Petrochemical Processes Directory 2024. The hydrogen peroxide-based epichlorohydrin production process and the caprolactam-based hexamethylenediamine production process were among the chosen technologies. This selection increases Sinochem International’s total to eight recognized green low-carbon processes.

On April 13, Sinochem International successfully launched Sinochem Holdings’ inaugural tech-innovation corporate bond, raising 500 million yuan. This issuance also helped secure its “Sci-Tech Innovation Entity” status.

Sinochem International has been honored with the “2022 Outstanding Green and Low-Carbon Bond Issuer” award by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, marking the company’s first such accolade in the credit bond market.

Two of Sinochem International’s manufacturing facilities, Sinochem Heibei Xinbao and Yangnong Ruitai, were honored with the “Green Factory” designation by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2022.

On March 22, Sennics Thailand Polymer Additives Factory, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, achieved a significant milestone as the 10,000th ton of rubber antioxidant Sirantox 6PPD rolled off the production line.

Sennics, a Sinochem International subsidiary, has secured a coveted spot on the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission’s list of “Creating World-Class and Specialized and Sophisticated Demonstration Enterprises” for its exceptional contributions to the polymer additives sector.

ELIX Polymers, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, has partnered with the Spanish non-profit Ayúdame3D, alongside Repsol and Leitat, to create 3D printed prosthetics from recycled acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) materials.
