ELlX Polymers of Sinochem International has recently published its 2023 Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsiblity Report. It is the 9th annual report of its kind released by ELlX and has been drafted in reference to the Universal Standards of the Global Reporting lnitiative (GRl). It demonstrates the company's efforts and achievements in embracing social responsibilities and upholding sustainable development in production, operation, innovation, society, and governance.
The report shows that in 2023, ELlX reduced the carbon footprint and water intensity associated with its operations by taking measures such as establishing strategic alliances throughout the supply chain and promoting the circular economy. This propelled the in-depth implementation of the company's sustainable development strategy.
These achievements allowed ELlX to obtain the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing it in the top 2 percent of over100,000 companies assessed. By cooperating with local governments, schools, and medical institutions, ELlX made significant contributions to local education and medical care, showcasing its commitment to fulfilling social responsibilities while also creating value for its shareholders.
