Sinochem International’s Methyl Isoamyl Ketone (MIAK) product has been named an “Innovative Product in Chemical New Materials” in 2023 by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

Sinochem International’s subsidiary, Yangnong Kumho, has received ISCC PLUS certification for its epoxy resin products from SGS, a leading third-party certification body. This makes Yangnong Kumho the first domestic epoxy resin manufacturer to obtain this certification.

Sennics, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, has earned the prestigious Platinum rating from EcoVadis, scoring 80 out of 100 points. This places Sennics in the top 1% of over 100,000 global companies.

On January 2, Sinochem International’s HPPO propylene oxide facility at Sinochem Lianyungang Circular Economy Industrial Park started up successfully, connecting the entire process and producing high-quality products. The unit has a capacity of 400,000 tons per year.

In June 2023, the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) unveiled the inaugural IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. Recognizing the significance of understanding these standards and harnessing the opportunities presented by ESG information disclosure, Sinochem International organized an ESG-themed training and exchange event on December 15, aimed to equip participants with the necessary insights on how to build new competitiveness in the ESG boom.

On December 27, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation unveiled the list of 2022 Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises in China’s Petroleum and Chemical Industry. Yangnong Group, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, emerged as one of the recognized intellectual property demonstration enterprises.

On November 24, Sennics, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, achieved recognition by being included in the List of Top 100 Chinese Fine Chemicals Enterprises 2023 and the List of Top 10 Chinese Low-carbon Fine Chemicals Enterprises 2023, attaining the 43rd and 4th rankings, respectively.

On November 24, Sinochem International received notable recognition by earning a coveted spot in the CRHC Cup CSJ (Chinese Securities Journal) Golden Bull ESG Top 100 Index for its robust ESG performance. Furthermore, the company secured a dual triumph in the List of the CRHC Cup ESG Golden Bull Award Top 100 and the List of the CRHC Cup ESG Golden Bull Award Top 50 Central State-owned Enterprises.

Shandong Sennics, a subsidiary of Sinochem International, has been selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as among the Fifth Batch of Green Design Demonstration Enterprises, announced on November 1.

Sinochem International has recently initiated the trial operation of a Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) unit with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons as part of its C3 Phase One Project. The company anticipates the commencement of product output in early November. This is a milestone marking the complete integration of its epoxy resin industry chain facilities in Lianyungang.
